BLACK CAT - A Washington DC Night Club

Black Cat is a live music venue committed to bringing you the best in local, national, and international independent and alternative music. We are located at 1811 14th St. NW in the heart of the historic U St. district in Washington, DC.

Advance tickets are available through Ticketmaster. Advance tickets to shows after September 25 are available through Ticket Alternative. Or, save the service charge by getting tickets from our box office between 8pm and midnight (cash only).

If you do not have advance tickets and wish to buy tickets at the door, you must wait until after doors have opened on the night of the show you wish to attend. Check our schedule for door times.

Please note that advance tickets are not available for our Backstage weekend (Friday and Saturday) dance nights. Advance tickets to all Mainstage events are always available in advance through Ticketmaster or our box office.

Black Cat events are all-ages. Patrons under 18 should have parental permission, and we prefer them to be accompanied by an adult. Please be aware that DC has a Curfew Law which affects those 17 and under. Curfew hours go into effect at 11:00pm Sunday-Thursday (weekdays) and at 12:00am on Friday and Saturday (weekends). If you are 17 or younger you must be out of the club by the times stated, unless accompanied by a parent.
