Now that the wind has stopped blowing, the smoke has settled down, and the media spotlight has gone away, a harsh apocalyptic reality has become apparent from community to community in and around Los Angeles, especially independent musicians. DC Music for Relief, in collaboration with the Black Cat, invites all caring people of the DMV to join our fundraiser event, LA RISING, a benefit for musicians critically affected by the wildfires in the Los Angeles area. All donations will go to MusiCares, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit, for vetting and distributing to qualified victims.
