ARTLOWEEN BASH

Artomatic, a DC-based arts organization, is kicking off its much-anticipated first annual ARTLOWEEN BASH, with a goal of becoming the most art-centric Halloween party in the DMV.

The event will include a Creepy Art Exhibit, a Costume Contest, a raffle with an exclusive Halloween-themed painting as the winning prize, and a dance party.

With Artloween, Artomatic hopes to infuse into Halloween its unique, free-spirited vibe and its focus on art and artists, which people have come to expect and love for the past 20-plus years.

The costume contest participants will compete for cash prizes: first prize $100, second prize $50, and third prize $30. Winners will be determined by an independent panel. The contestants will display their talents in a Masquerade Parade.

Artomatic's events have attracted more than 425,000 visitors to date and counting.
