Sockets Records is a small-scale recording label begun as a way to build community through sound. Based in Washington, DC, Sockets has released over 50 recordings of experimental, incidental, minimal and arranged sounds. These recordings focus on some of the more challenging, but accessible, music within a pop-music framework - including works by acts like The Cornel West Theory and Bluebrain.
