Jordan Lee has spent the last few years moving from Ohio to Austin to Boston to Brooklyn, running the Kassette Klub label and touring with friends' groups. He also leads an amorphous project called Mutual Benefit, a one-man-band or a sprawling collective, depending on where he is and who is around that day. As Mutual Benefit, he writes heartfelt and powerful songs with his fragile and beautiful voice as the centerpiece - creating a blend of high and low fidelity folk that's both reminiscent of Sufjan Stevens and entirely his own creation.
