It’s been said that the double–neck guitar is the ultimate signifier of musical masturbation and phallocentric crotch rocking. That is, unless it's in the right hands — like those of post-rock duo El Ten Eleven. In which case the sacred double-neck is used to lay down simple rhythms, which are then layered into mechanized dance jams. I can’t think of a better use.
