Inspired in equal parts by trashy movies, LA hardcore, and the Ramones, the Dickies are the clown princes of punk. With their goofy charm, they not only scored a major-label deal in 1978 (the first LA punks to do so) but have since gone on to influence such bands as Green Day. The Dickies are legends. And deservedly so.
