LET ME BREAK YOU UP:
AN ANTI-DATING GAME SHOW
Hosted by
CARLY ANN FILBIN
$15 Backstage / Doors at 9:00
Let's be honest, love doesn't exist, couples suck, and Valentine's Day is bullshit. Join your host Carly Ann Filbin in taking down THAT annoying couple. She'll test real life couples to see if their partnership even means anything (it doesn't). The couples with the least amount points will have to break-up because we all die alone and what's the point of anything really? It'll be fun!
Carly Ann Filbin is a comedian/writer/actor living in Brooklyn. She spends a lot of time at the Upright Citizens Brigade, where performs Let Me Break You Up: An Anti-Dating Game Show, monthly. On the flip side of the coin, she also hosts the match making show Young Hot Sluts. She was previously on an improv house team, and wrote for He Said She Said, a monthly sketch show. Her solo show, Validate Me, debuted at The People's Improv Theatre and was performed at UCB and the CincinnatiFringe. She was the face of MikMak, an innovative new shopping app, and has written/acted on numerous projects for MTV, Logo, Lifetime, Zodiac Productions and others. She is currently Cosmopolitan.com's field correspondent, asking the people of New York the hard questions like "what's the most overrated sex position?" Her mom really liked her web series, Not Twins, which was featured on FunnyOrDie.com last year. She was recently a castmember on the nationally touring, storytelling show Awkward Sex...and the City. Murder By Spirit Stick, which she wrote and stars in, premiered at UCB in April. Binge watch her new, critically acclaimed web seres, Single Blonde Failure, immediately after you read this. Her series, Saved, on CNBC, is her dad's favorite. Keep a look out for her new live solo show, This Doesn't Mean I'm Gonna Be Your Boyfriend, in 2018. Carly knows it's what's on the inside that counts, that's why she drinks bleach, so she can be blonde on the inside.
