There is always something going on at the Black Cat, whether it’s a legendary national act on the Mainstage or an up-and-coming local band, independent film, or poetry event on the Backstage. But if you feel like getting away from it all (or just don’t want to cough up the dough for a cover charge) take a break in our no-cover Red Room Bar.

The Red Room is open from 8pm until 2am during the week and from 7pm until 3am on Fridays & Saturdays. The Red Room features a fully stocked bar with an assortment of micro-brews and imports, Belgian beers, and a good selection of bourbon and scotch. Challenge your friends to a game of pool at our pool table, play pinball, or select some tunes on our astonishingly good jukebox in a laid-back, informal atmosphere peopled with club regulars and curiosity-seekers alike.
